Lars Andreas Haaø Fossestøl is a film producer with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in film production from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. He did a semester abroad residing in Monterey, California, studying Cinematic Arts & Technology as part of his Bachelor. After his master's he took PPU which earned him a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in 2021 and he's grown quite fond of teaching after a months in a High School in Trondheim.
He was born in the southern parts of Norway and spent his summers on the family island of Haaø (Håøya) in Grimstad. The island originated stories like Terje Vigen (Lars' grand*3 father)by Henrik Ibsen back in the old days and Lars has a dream of one day being able to produce a film or two about all the stories of the old seafarer that lies so close to him.
His primary focus lays in production, screenwriting, editing, marketing and distribution. Lars also has a love for photography, computer programming, IT security and Visual Design (don't even get me started on Weebly's formatting, missing dreamweaver), and dogs.. Dogs are awesome!
He also has a burning passion for keeping up with the latest tech-news related to phones and is usually the go-to guy when any of his friends wants a new phone for their needs. The master's was in fact about the phone as a platform for new media content and how to reach a certain demographic-
Early 2018 he joined up in the Film board as Assistant Manager in the World's biggest international student festival ISFiT19 where he worked on managing film projects, delegating work, budgeting and other organizational work.
Later in 2018 he also applied and was accepted into the non-profit student organization Prosjektor Filmproduksjon and took the role of producer for the film being produced that fall. From early 2019 he was also accepted into the board of Prosjektor, and from 2020 he became the head of the board for the organization in his heart.
